ABOUT
I’m Clay Stevenson, an audio and music creator, producer, podcaster, and educator. My work sits at the intersection of sound, technology, and learning, spanning music production, immersive audio, and digital media.
I’m interested in how sound shapes experience: how it’s created, how it’s taught, and how it’s listened to.
I create and produce music and sound-based projects, releasing music under the alias daade (sometimes daade tracks). My work ranges from music production to longer-form audio and meditation projects, with an emphasis on texture, space, and clarity. My podcasts and meditation music are hosted on Insight Timer, where sound is used as a tool for focus, reflection, and calm.
Alongside my creative work, I teach music production and recording arts at Elon University, where I work with students on both the technical and creative sides of audio. I’m also the founder of The Music & Production Academy of Chapel Hill, a learning space built around skill-building, curiosity, and creative confidence.
